I doesn't work for me in (u)xterm but works in gnome terminal(on linux), so I assume it is font issue,

But there is some frustrating error with UTF-8 in lynx
for example if I visit www.hr

This line is rendered wrong, it is also rendered wrong when some parts of that line is highlighted:

 Traži [10]_____________________ [11]Traži [BUTTON]

Also it happens with any other site with forms, and similar document font.
