        I agree.  I'd say, totally take the text out of the "Stop" sign... 
make it the red octagon that is almost universally recognized to mean, 
"Stop".  That would look cleaner.  :)

        Isn't there some kind of universal setting (via GnomeCC, I think) that 
says whether apps should display icons, text, or both?  Flyover help 
should definitely provide the icon's function, if labels are turned off.
