 Well, you are somehow right, but the problem is there are TWO VIA:
fields in the packets!
 Here's how it looks with another registrar, don't know what software
they use :( (clients are .3 and .4, server is .1)

SIP/2.0 180 RINGING
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.0.0.3
Call-ID: address@hidden
From: <sip:address@hidden>;tag=5077cab7
To: "b" <sip:address@hidden>;tag=50608bfc
Warning: 0
CSeq: 2 INVITE
Content-Length: 0
User-Agent: MyPhone

SIP/2.0 200 OK
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.0.0.3
Call-ID: address@hidden
From: <sip:address@hidden>;tag=5077cab7
To: "b" <sip:address@hidden>;tag=50608bfc
Warning: 0
CSeq: 2 INVITE
Content-Type: application/sdp
Content-Length: 154
Contact: <sip:address@hidden>
User-Agent: MyPhone

v=0
o=MyPhone 1348196714 1348196714 IN IP4 10.0.0.4
s=SIP call
c=IN IP4 10.0.0.4
t=0 0
m=audio 30002 RTP/AVP 3
a=rtpmap:3 GSM/8000
ACK sip:address@hidden;user=phone SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.0.0.3;branch=z9hG4bKnp1350757961-42299af510.0.0.3
From: "a" <sip:address@hidden>;tag=5077cab7
To: <sip:address@hidden>;tag=50608bfc
Call-ID: address@hidden
CSeq: 2 ACK
Date: Mon, 01 Jul 2002 11:27:28 GMT
Content-Length: 0
Contact: <sip:address@hidden>
User-Agent: MyPhone

... and the call goes on OK. But with partysip:

SIP/2.0 180 RINGING
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.0.0.1
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.0.0.3
^^^^^^ this seems to be the problem...
