Hi,

some special information about the new Clients from Funambol, the
author of Sync4j. With the new server version 2.0 they introduced
GPLed clients for Outlook and PocketPC platform. We tested this
clients and they seem to work, but we can not really use them at the
moment: normally we use vCard and iCalendar as interchange format, but
these clients does only support a native XML format. This format is
easy for interpretion, but this helps only if we support this format.

There are two solutions for this:

1. Add support for ex- and import of the native format to our IPC
classes.

2. Add support for vCard/iCalendar to the clients itself. 

The first way should be easy to do, but the second is more compatible
and more generic. Until we develop one of these we have to use
commercial clients for Outlook and PocketPC.
