You're right. I was thinking of select.

Do you use more than one screen with xinerama? A while ago you were
having trouble with xinerama and frames and Nicholas Rachinsky sent
you patch to fix it (dated 10 Sep 2008). Are you still using that
patch? If not does it fix the problem?

I never applied that patch because the fix really should be in set_active_frame.
