Ingo Ruhnke <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: RoboVasion
System name: robovasion
Type: non-GNU

Description:
RoboVasion will be a Real Time Strategie game somewhat similar to Warcraft,
Starcraft, Command&Conquer or Total Annihilation, meaning the player will
controll a handfull of units, build a base, build more units and attack the
other party. RoboVasion will use the Freecraft engine as a base and add new
graphics and game rules as necessary. The game will take place in a futuristic
environment with robot-drones and other hightech. Due to the throuble with
Blizzard in the last few days, it is required to rename the Freecraft engine
before actually using it inside RoboVasion, see:

http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/06/21/1323249&mode=thread&tid=127&tid=186&tid=210
http://happypenguin.org/newsitem?id=3801

Beside the name there doesn't seem to be a legal problem with the Freecraft
engine and the shutdown by the last maintainers seems to be more due to a lack
of motivation, than due to actually throuble with Blizzard. The latest source
code of Freecraft is:

http://www.ffh.us/eric/freecraft-cvsroot.tar.gz

The currently temporary Webpage of RoboVasion is at:

http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/tmp/robovasion/webpage/welcome.html

RoboVasion will reuse the Freecraft engine directly (after renaming and some
cleanup), instead of requiring the user to download it seperatly, which isn't
possible at the moment since the original Freecraft project has been shutdown.
A later clean split between the engine and RoboVasion is planed, but will most
likly happen under a new project.
