compiling apps - unstaisfied symbols

Hi

I am attempting to install swam.

I have HP-UX 10.01 on a J9000.

I believe I have the correct environment re needed software.

Swarm seems to compile!

However when I compile the apps I get the following at the link stage.

/usr/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:

class_get_class_method (code)
_objc_exec_class (code)
sel_get_any_uid (code)

and several more of the same.

I inherited the machine and it is possible that the installation may be
incomplete.

Any ideas as to why this is happening and  how  I can get around it.

I have tried swarm-1.0.1-parisc-hpux and swarm-1.0.2.
