hi Marcus,

Yup, that makes sense.  So the news here is that SuSE 6.1's egcs
is built without objc by default.  And, if you do gcc -v in SuSE 6.1, 
gcc is already linked to egcs, as it should be.  Guess it's time to go 
rebuild egcs.
