swarm_directory_objc_remove error

I am running MS Windows NT 4.0 (Build 1381 Service Pack 4), and Swarm 2.1.1.
I'm trying to run the java version of heatbugs (jheatbugs2.1), and I've
gotten it to compile, and at both my bash or dos windows I can start the
Java VM machine that puts up the three starting windows (ProcCtrl,
HeatbugModelSwarm, and HeatbugObserverSwarm), but as soon as I push the
"Start" button on the ProcCtrl window, it dumps as follows:

C:\jheatbugs-2.1>java StartHeatbugs
**0 init
/src/Swarm/swarm/src/defobj/directory.m:187 swarm_directory_objc_remove
0 [sig] java 1052 stackdump: Dumping stack trace to java.exe.stackdump

C:\jheatbugs-2.1>echo %CLASSPATH%
C:\Program Files\Exceed.nt\hcljrcsv.jar;C:\Program
Files\Exceed.nt\;.;C:\Swarm-2.1.1\share\swarm\swarm.jar
C:\jheatbugs-2.1>echo %SWARMHOME%

C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\WBEM;C:\Swarm-2.1.1\bin;C:\jdk1

The stackdump says:

My source code is the jheatbugs 2.1 demo, with some debug statements
inserted.
Attached is a zip of the directory. <<jheatbugs-2.1demo.zip>>

What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
