        Dear Benjamin,

        a short list of suggestion:

from cygwin bash shell type

mkdir /Swarm-2.2
mount c:\\Swarm-2.2 /Swarm-2.2
        ^^
       double

Then copy in your home (may be something like /cygwin/home/name, where name il your name or Standard) the attached file (the name is '.bashrc').

Copy, in the same home, the whole folder of a valid application, like jheatbugs-2001-03-28; go there, type
make
javaswarm StartHearbugs and ... you are running.

Hi,
I have downloaded Swarm 2.2-pretest 4 and unzipped it. I also have downloaded
Cygwin (Base Package + make and some libraries) and installed it. Now I don't understand the instructions in the SwarmOnlineFAQ. Where can I mount the Swarm directory? After all, Cygwin has its own /usr, /usr/lib and so on directories. Also, I expected that from 2.1.1 on,
Swarm runs without Cygwin. So what can I do?

Thanks for the help and the patience,
Benjamin Inden
