The loop can be triggered by simple typing; and ceased by giving focus to another window.

I am using the Qt version.

I don't get the loop if I invoke with:

ssh -t -Y address@hidden texmacs

I do get the loop if I run directly on the netbook.

It has nothing to do with netbook release of Ubuntu, it also happens with some documents on 10.10
