Fine by me - my main task is to make sure DJGPP is properly supported
in the packages I maintain DJGPP packages for; and since DJGPP supports
both forward and backward slashes, I'm happy. A clear note in the docs
about this would be welcome though.
One thing I would like to see in the first version of automake that
_requires_ autoconf 2.50 or higher is that bare colons are replaced by
@address@hidden This would also require enclosing the relevant
values (TEXINPUTS, most notably) in double quotes to avoid problems
if the pathsep is ';'. My local version of automake already has this
and has worked OK for months.
