Perhaps, but it's a bit tricky to write that text without confusing users 
even further.

The nastiest problem is that there's DEL, there's Delete, there's 
Backspace (sometimes labeled BS or "<-Backspace" or just "<-"), and 
these are 3 different keys.  Different keyboards typically have 1 or 
2 out of these 3 keys, under varying names.  On top of that, many PC 
keyboards have 2 Delete keys, one of them usually labeled "Del", but it 
doesn't produce the \177 character, so it is not what Emacs calls "DEL"!

Richard tried his best to clarify this mess in the manual.  If you can 
suggest how to change the C-h m text to make it more clear without adding 
confusion, please do.
