Yes, that's correct, I use sergey's code to provide a stub
for loosing platforms.

You should not post so late, after a long flight.
I admit it took me a minute for my brain to clic in.

strerror() --> is for error numbers i.e EINVAL, ENOMEM, ...

strsignal () --> is for signal numbers i.e. SIGSEGV, SIGUSR1, ...
