I very rarely ever see the ottava bassa on classical guitar piece. When I see it, I am not thrown off by it. In my template I used a normal trble clef and set the tranposition to -12. I will use ottava bassa if That is the more proper thing to do.

Classical guitar has a quirk: it should be in the treble ottava bassa
clef (i.e. with an italic 8 underneath the treble clef) but that is
often omitted in sloppy typesets. It needs to be there to avoid the
music being entered an octave out; we could with some effort provide a
template that used the correct pitches but drew the clef without the 8
for those who find the 8 irritating. (The problem would start to show if
someone was doing chamber music including guitar ...)
