I spent a weekend browsing through KHTML and WebCore to figure out how
it works (or is supposed to ;-)
Thanks to W3C's excellent specification(s) and both groups trying to
stick to those as much as possible, it has a pretty much straight
forward hierarchy that can be re-implemented in plain ObjC. I've started
to do just that (implementing the basic DOM as specified by W3C, that
is) but, as you said, it's simply too much for one person alone...
