Hi,
I got one of those OEM Sony DRU500A drives ( the DW-U10A).
First off, I would like to say that the drived works perfectly out of the
box.
Both the kernel and cdrecord see it:
hdd: SONY DVD RW DW-U10A, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
FordPrefect:/home/milmber# cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord 2.0 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2002 Jörg Schilling
Linux sg driver version: 3.1.24
Using libscg version 'schily-0.7'

I am using "dvd+rw-tools" and so far I only have one DVD-RW and I have
burned sucessfully to it.
I know that this is a dvdrtools list, but I wanted to ask a more general
question.
My problem is, that I can read the disc fine on my machine, but other people
can't seem to read it. Is this because it is a DVD-RW? I managed to get one
machine at work to read it but the other fail...
Also, which filesystem ( ISO9660 / UDF ) should I use for a general data DVD
that other computers ( linux/windowz) will be able to read?
