that was the same before this change with --without-x:

Note, built-in variable `x-bitmap-file-path' not bound
Note, built-in variable `x-stretch-cursor' not bound

Is this really a problem? I do not think we should workaround this issue
as it is now in msdos.c:

   complain about unbound variables.  */
/* Search path for bitmap files (xfns.c).  */
Lisp_Object Vx_bitmap_file_path;
int x_stretch_cursor_p;
