So you think users should be prevented from changing default keybindings? 
That's what the logic of your argument suggests. 

In practice, nobody but me is realistically going to be using my Emacs 
configuration. Personal specificity is the essence of personalization. Most 
random people sitting down to an Emacs session anyway are going to try things 
like C-c to copy and C-v to paste, and these don't work anyway.
