Could you test with Crisis sf2 can be download on the net as well which is 1GB size, it appear that wasn't load in fs 1.1.5 and 1.1.6

Do you get some kind of error message? Debug log? Something that can
give a hint about why this happens?

I mean, what makes you think it's the size of the sf2 file (and nothing
else) that causes it not to load correctly?
