I had created and submitted a patch earlier this year that fixed this bug, but it was not accepted (and nobody looked at it either). I can email it again if anyone would like.

I am using freetype 2.1.4 after compiling on the Mac Platform.
On the Mac, it is common for a single true type font suitcase to
have multiple fonts. My question is how do I get the face object
for each of the multiple faces. I tried using FT_New_Face() with
face_index set to 0. But I get the face object of the first font
only. If I try to increment the value of face_index in
FT_New_Face(), the function fails. Please help.

I can't help since I don't use a Mac. As you can see, I've CCed the
address@hidden list which is the right one for such details.
Maybe some Mac users are listening there and have time to answer.

    Werner
