My conclusion: I am strongly opposed to entering any type of agreement with this type of entity. Basic guess (and I believe this to be correct) is that the glob2 community is actually bigger, older, wiser, and has better resources (both technical and artistic) than unknown entertainment. If unknown entertainment wishes to contribute to glob2, they may, however they should do so by the same rules as everyone else, getting the same benefits. Asking for an agreement to take glob2 under their control right off the bat and showing nothing in return is a pure show of arrogance.
I agree with Sebastian. As far as I can see unknown entertainment is only a few month old and very much our inferior. Demanding advertisement to be put into a complete game with a history of more than 7 years of development and contributions of more than 30 developers without having done anything for that project is pure arrogance. I think if we'd ask Microsoft whether they would like to put advertisement into our game they also would agree. I don't see any win-win situation right now. If they show that they can provide a lot of useful things and are really willing and able to do so, then I'll start to think about the proposal. -- Kai Antweiler
