I think it makes sense to suppor the POSIX style of --.
But that doesn't require us to get rid of the current uses of -- because
those two do not conflict.

The only conflict I can see is if you want to say

        tla commit -- $files

where $files might be empty.  Doesn't sound like a big deal to me.
