Although GPSD gets its roots from linux, it's used in an ever increasing diversity of operating systems.  Giving a nod to its roots by using tux is certainly ok, but perhaps a more OS agnostic approach is warranted?

Interesting take on the subject.  A lot of key gpsd people are at SELF
this very minute, so responses will be delayed.
