+This page describes our deliberations on the issue of if and how to tell a
user how other people have rated this item. It is currently (2005-05-17) most
relevant to OpRBP.

-We are currently (2005-05-17) in agreement that we should show them number and
average.
+== Yes Do Show Number and Mean Response For Each Item:

-We will not show it via "the green box" for OpRBP but may do it for
JoshuasGoalStudy.
+We are currently (2005-05-17) in agreement that we should show them number and
average. However, one pilot subject, interviewed approx 2005-06-01 thought
this was distracting and thought maybe we should show the participant how their
responses stacked up against the average at the completion of the study. As of
2005-06-05 Bill does not think that this one objection is enough to override
our decision to show the average response.
+
+== Do not show Standard Deviation:

We pretty much all believe that we should not show them standard deviation
because
-this is too technical.
+this is too technical. Doubters should ask their friends who are not in
science to define "standard deviation". If more than half can, keep it on your
page.

but may do it for JoshuasGoalStudy.
