It might be an obsoleted option, still listed in the help description:
$ gcc -Werror-implicit-function-declaration
gcc: fatal error: no input files
$ gcc -Werror-implicit-function-declaratio
gcc: error: unrecognized command line option
‘-Werror-implicit-function-declaratio’; did you mean
‘-Werror-implicit-function-declaration’?
gcc: fatal error: no input files
