We now know it's not that simple. In fact I never arrived at
the end of the chain of things that needed to be added to the
2.4.5 distribution. In the end I simply used 2.7.
But some changes to git-cl were necessary to run under
Windows, even with 2.7. I'll document these more clearly
tomorrow.
