Thanks for taking the time to try the Android client and send your
feedback to the list. I'm not sure what's up with the HTTPS issue.
That seems like a legitimate bug. With respect to pre-4.0 devices,
that's a known limitation. I don't have an interest personally in
building for pre-4.0 SDKs. I know some compatibility libraries exist,
but I have no idea what you need to do to existing code to leverage
them. I'd be happy to review patches for merging.
