Follow-up Comment #38, bug #31305 (project octave):
It occurred to me that changing zlim to [0.1 1] should hide the contour since
it is at z = 0.
The disappearing ticklabels I see for zlim = [-1, 1] reappear if I change the
figure's position property. On MacOS 10.6 with FLTK 1.1.10 it is necessary to
change the position property to render other aspects of the plot correctly
also.
Thus, I suspect this is an isolated problem, but have opened a ticket
indicating that.
