Follow-up Comment #30, bug #44478 (project octave): Hello Andy, I have tried what you suggested and some more extreme things. Nothing works, whenever I call any gl* function I get a segfault. I have erased the whole function __osmesa_print__.cc from line 273 and below (after the allocation and setting the environment ctx as current) and just called glEnable (GL_DEPTH_TEST); and I get a segfault. Code attached It seems that the problem is not in this function, but on the allocation part. I haven't managed to get the demo running in octave by embedding it into the DLD function. I will keep trying.
