Follow-up Comment #3, bug #57435 (project octave): "test sparse.tst" doesn't trigger an error. All 1024 test pass. But I see a bunch of warnings, I didn't notice when running the test suite on Ubuntu: warning: lu: function may fail when called with less than 4 output arguments and a sparse input warning: called from __test__ at line 3 column 10 test at line 660 column 11 Also "clear all" followed by running the test again does not fail. I'm reverted to the suitesparse version we used until a few weeks ago ([1] and a few follow up changes). Completing the clean cross-build will take some time. I'll report back if this makes the issue disappear.
