First if i can find this information somewhere else please just say
where but i can not find it so please forgive me if i ask s0mething
people have asked before....
I'm using Suse 8.0 pro at home and i wanted to start using Pan but i saw
the version i have is the version without yenc support so i wanted to
upgrade to the latest stable version of pan. I'm using KDE 3.0.2 so i
downlaoded the tar file along with the dependencied as it is written in
the "hints" documents.
I compiled them just like it says ./configure etc make install
After that i tied to start pan but it still says it's version 0.11.x so
i searched my hd and i found anouther "pan" file in the usr/src/pan-0-13
directoryy i used to compile my pan tar file.
I tried to execute that file but nothing happens...
Can someone tell what i'm doing wrong here or do i forget something...
Please help because a friend of mine suggested to just buy Suse 8.1
which has oan 0-13 in it but do not want to spend any more moneuy just
for this problem....
thnx Patrick
