By some sort of miracle, Pan is on my computer at last. Trouble is, I don't know where it lives on my drive or how to access it via X11.

Thoughts? Thanks.

'locate pan'?
probably either /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin

To lauch it, simply from a command line (in a terminal window) issue the command
    "pan" or "/path/to/pan"
There are other ways to launch it as well.
