had the same problems a while back.

if you check your directory, you should find the application "heatbugs" 
or "bugs" there.  if it isn't then it probably means that "make" didn't 
complete at all.

if it is, then you should try "./bugs" or "./heatbugs".

the problem is with the default paths in LINUX I believe.  if that works, 
go into the .bashrc (or was it .login?) and add "./" to your paths.  

that should work.
