SWARM and the Information Economy.

hi all,

i'm working on a SWARM application to model the information economy. the
gist of it is that i have agents that have evolving strategies and a fixed
x-periods of memory trying to make a living by discovering, upgrading,
trading and doing other sorts of stuff with their technolgoies, which are
their assets.

from period to period, there will be a genetic algorithm running as well to
crop the population and doing all the crossovers. the aim is to
eventually see if the strategies and the behavior of the agents conform
to some of the things we see in the "real world".

if there's someone out there who's done something similar to this, i'd
like to hear from you, perhaps email me privately so as not to clutter up
this list-serv.

also, if there's someone on the SWARM team that would be willing to spend
some time with me going over some of the finer points of this i'd really
appreciate it - i'm a newbie programmer in Obj-C with, let's see, 2 months
of experience. :)

thanx.
