[Swarm-Support] swarm installation problems

I am an assistant professor at the U. of Iowa trying to start up some 
research in complex systems (preferrable implementing Swarm). I have had 
our system administrator install swarm-2.1.1 on our Linux lab. However, 
when I attempted to run some of the swarm models (tipping, axelcult, etc.) 
I get this error:

./tipping : error while loading shared libraries: libspace.so.2 : cannot 
open shared object file : no such file or directory

Any suggestions?
