[Savannah-hackers] .symlinks again

Are .symlink files supposed to work in all directories?

Is there a lond time delay before they get linked in?


I've just put a .symlink file (correct this time I think) in 

   /software/classpathx/jaxp/

and it doesn't seem to be having the desired effect.
