Dear Tim,

I tried it out also: Good news:

Chrome seems to display everything well. A screen shot is here:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B7rhlkDSbzCQTGk4VDRjLVh4bm8

Firefox displays the same characters as Chrome.

This is on Ubuntu 12.10 with Bibledit-Web 0.7.11.

What system do you run it on?

Hello Teus,

I've attached a file of the first chapter of Genesis. It opens and displays
properly with Open Office so it seems to be an issue with web exporting or
perhaps something else.

Thanks,

Tim

Glad you have it running and like it.

As to the font issue, perhaps bibledit-web has not yet been used with
characters other than Latin.

Two questions:

1. Do you have a sample of a chapter or so with the special characters?
2. Is it about web export, or OpenDocument, or something else?

Teus.

Greetings,

I finally have Bibledit-web running on my machine and have been trying it out. It is very
nice! I have one issue with fonts, however. Our language uses special characters and
when I view the uploaded Bible from "Translation/text" everything looks just
fine. However, when I export it to allow others to view the Bible then the special
characters show up incorrectly (strange symbols). I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu and I have
the fonts set to use Doulos SIL (the font we normally use) and the character encoding to
Unicode.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Tim
