Follow-up Comment #5, bug #17235 (project sourceinstall):

Hi,

Now it configures and installs perfectly. I wanted to test the installation
of info pages, but unfortunately all the source code programs I downloaded
either uses scons, or a custom installation script. If you can point me to a
GNU compatible tarball which includes an info file, I can verify the correct
installation of info files.
