You can check with most of the GNU software you find at
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu
Some small ones (but with info pages): grep, gawk, idutils, a2ps, ...
There are many non-gnu packages which work with sourceinstall,
but often they do not provide info pages.
However, during installation install-info is only called as fallback if the
package does not install info pages properly.
install-info is much more relevant during upgrades/downgrades/uninstallation,
and it is the only way to keep info files and index up to date (since make
uninstall from the package is not trusted and almost never used).
So if you want to run a relevant test, you should include upgrade and
uninstall actions.
