Strangely, your message has not yet arrived on the mailing list archive.
As I promised on irc chat #denemo I posted an example and some details
on this list yesterday:
see http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/denemo-devel/2016-09/index.html

under the subject "Inserting clefs arbitrarily". In brief you use
Notes/Rests->Displace Horizontally
to move the first note in the bar and make space for the Clef glyph.

This is 4 releases ago, many improvements since then. There is a version
built every night which does not require sudo to use, you just download
it to any directory in your home directory, unpack it and launch it with
the provided script Launch_Denemo.sh (or some such!).
This version is:

http://www.denemo.org/~jjbenham/gub/uploads/denemo-0.0.0-0.linux-x86.tar.xz

As I write it is still dated 3rd Sept 2016, so not updated yet for
today. When it is you will have the fix for dragging the clef glyph into
the space you have created. With older versions there was a bug which
meant you only got one chance to drag the clef to the correct position
in the Print View - after that it was failing to take into account that
it was already moved.
I must thank you for alerting me to this bug!

Once you have got an example clef and displacement you can copy and
paste to other bars (you could even copy and paste from the attached
score).

Please ask if you need further help,

Richard
