What I do not like with this method (and that is solved with the 
ApplicationSupport dir)
is that application directories get mixed with different kinds of directories, 
like Headers,
Colors, etc.

Whatever it is, I think we should get to a standard place to put those files. I 
took
a look at my installation and found application files in many different places.
