And here's the last bits. Thanks Sven for doing the autoconf magic stuff :). It basically adds a SYSTEM_ZLIB macro to unix-def.mk, which is checked in ftgzip/rules.mk to conditionally compile the internal gzip in - or not. The patch includes a regenerated configure script with autoconf 2.54. Note that it includes Sven's patch.

To packagers : I notice libfreetype.so is not linked against zlib (`freetype-config --libs` will give you the -lz however), so you should not forget to add an explicit dependency on zlib for 2.1.3.
