Alright, but how do you keep using Firefox/Chrome in the meantime? Or
are you two not on FreeType's git master?

Disable subpixel rendering for the time being although I was planning to break that too next week :). It is shocking that Skia is aware of whether subpixel rendering is enabled or not. Look at this hack:

So, much better option would be to fix Skia ASAP.
