[Help-glpk] Do I misunderstand LPX_K_ITMLM?

I am setting LPX_K_ITMLM to 10000 and sometimes see the counter part of MIP messages exceed 10000 (it does not terminate), which makes me think I don't understand the use of the limit.

It is set before the call to lpx_integer. The times it seems to be ignored, it also seems to take a very long time to produce the first message (no idea if that's relevant).

As a side issue, is there any call I can make inside a print hook to terminate the current iteration?
