"qt" is one of the available gnuplot terminals.
I suspect that your gnuplot may not have "wxt" terminal available.
That should not be such a problem -- "qt" is quite serviceable.

You should be able tu run gnuplot from the comman-line terminal
(not from octave) and check for all available terminals with
"set term" comman. You should see something similar to:
