it can be, but the session also looks for the IP address, so unless the merchant
site can actually login to create the session it won't work.  You can disable 
the
IP check, but then security becomes an issue.

Look for a file called anon_wrapper.php in the root of your phpgw install.  I 
think
what you really want is a modified version of that.
