Hello Paul, Jim and Bradley,

Could you answer my two questions?

Hello,

I would really like to understand the migration decision. We almost
lost a volunteer because of this opacity.

We now know Savannah|Savane is well maintained and not unsecure. Is
the decision to migrate maintained considering this? Also, should the
Savannah hackers be involved in this kind of decision?

I will give a brief explanation. We cannot continue using the
Savannah software because we have no one to maintain it properly.
GForge is maintained seriously. Therefore we will switch to GForge.

I don't have time to discuss this further. I am in the hospital and
falling behind on my other work.

Our sysadmins reached a different conclusion; I am following their
judgment in saying that Savane is not maintained securely in a way
that we can use.

I don't have time to try to study the code myself, nor time to learn
the background knowledge our sysadmins already have. I will rely on
their judgment.

My arm (which was broken, and had surgery) got infected. I got out of the hospital Monday and left for a 6-week trip in Europe on Tuesday. I am far behind, so please don't ask me to spend any more time on this.
