the first release is the hardest ... ;-)

Now I've pushed a first version of manual for upcoming release 1.0 to 
savannah:

(Attention, the link for tarball for version 1.0.0 isn't valid in the 
moment!)

If possible, please review! Or if suggestions, mistakes, new parts :-) 
... please send it to list or directly to my mail address. If docu is 
done, I'll push tarball and a binary for linux (from my ubuntu 10.04) 
and, if I find time, a binary for windows (compiled and build with 
MSys!) to savannah and update web site to roll out release.

@Petr: because you have made some work for Visual Studio environment: 
could you build an image with Visual Studio from release branch?
