I can't help you inside Swarm, but I have another program that will play
back a data file in 3d using OpenGL. It currently does everything you want
it to -- displaying flying entities as triangles (actually, tetrahedrons)
with heading shown. If you're interested, I'll contact the place where I
worked to see if it can be distributed (an earlier version was, so I doubt
there would be a problem).
